| Frequency in Malta: Common - Widely distributed along the Maltese coasts and especially common at Marsaxlokk and Pretty Bay. |

| Habitat: Marine - Widely distributed in shallow water among Posidonia. |
| Further Information: The largest Jujubinus species reaching up to 13mm in size. Has a conical shape. Has very strong basal cords which are easily visible. Differs from Jujubinus striatus in having less spiral cords usually 4 as shown in one of the photographs. |
